How much does a crack cost?

When it comes to concrete pumps, it could be a lot.  Placing booms are made from high strength steel.  Due to their bulky appearance, many people believe they can withstand a lot of punishment and abuse.  Unfortunately, this is not the case.  Placing booms are manufactured to support only the weight of the concrete that is being moved through the pipeline.  In order to get longer boom lengths, manufacturers use thinner, stronger steel to produce the booms.  Small cracks may seem minor, they only get larger, leading to equipment failure and unexpected down time.  CWI wants to make sure the equipment you use is safe today and in the future

With a CWI Boom Inspection you are taking a proactive approach to finding and repairing minor issues before they become a major expense and safety hazard
